Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your access to and use of Drofree, including drofree.com, Guest Mode, registered accounts, cloud projects, collaboration sessions, reports, exports, support and related services. By using Drofree, you agree to these Terms and the policies incorporated into them.
1. Eligibility and authority
You may use Drofree only if you have legal capacity to agree to these Terms. If you use Drofree for an organization or another person, you represent that you have authority to upload, review, share and process the material involved.
2. Accounts
Registered features require an account. You must provide accurate information, keep access credentials secure and promptly notify Drofree if you believe an account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise.
3. Guest Mode
Guest Mode is for quick review, markup and export without permanent account storage. Guest Mode does not promise durable cloud saving, project history, session hosting or team administration. Closing the browser, clearing browser data or changing devices can remove temporary guest work.
4. Projects and your content
You retain ownership of files, drawings, comments, references and other content you submit. You give Drofree a limited permission to host, store, process, transmit, render, back up and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service. You must have the rights and permissions necessary for anything you upload or share.
5. Collaboration and host responsibility
Hosts control invitations and supported participant permissions. A person with a valid invitation link or code may obtain the access associated with it. Hosts must share invitations appropriately and should end or revoke access when it is no longer required. Participants must respect the permissions provided by the host.
6. Review continuity and maintenance
Drofree is designed so product announcements and promotional communications do not intentionally interrupt an active review canvas. Planned maintenance may nevertheless make the service temporarily unavailable. Where reasonably practicable, Drofree may notify registered users in advance by email. Emergency security or reliability work may occur without advance notice when delay would create additional risk.
7. Communications
Drofree may send operational messages about accounts, security, access, maintenance and material service changes. Optional product news, feature announcements, offers and other promotional email are governed by the marketing preference associated with the account. Users may unsubscribe from optional marketing without losing access to the service or preventing essential operational notices.
8. Dorbee and automated assistance
Dorbee and any automated assistance are support tools, not substitutes for professional judgment. Outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate. Users remain responsible for design, engineering, contractual, legal, safety and other professional decisions made from project material.
9. Acceptable use
You must not misuse Drofree, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, distribute malicious code, violate another person's rights, upload unlawful content, bypass permissions or use the service for unlawful activity. The Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these Terms.
10. Storage and V1 limits
Drofree V1 applies account, project and active-project limits displayed by the product. Current V1 controls are designed around a maximum of three active cloud projects, an account cloud allowance of 50 MiB and a project allowance of 25 MiB. Drofree may adjust limits prospectively as the service evolves. The product will not intentionally delete existing project content merely because a new limit is introduced without providing an appropriate product flow or notice.
Users should keep independent copies of important source material and exports. Drofree is a collaboration service and is not represented as the sole archival or backup system for critical professional records.
11. Portable project exports
Where Drofree provides an ORVU or other project export, the export is intended to let a user retain a portable copy of the project information included by that feature. Re-importing an exported project can be subject to the account's current project and storage capacity.
12. Reports and access links
Project reports and participant report links are read-only outputs of recorded project information. Time-limited access links or codes may expire or be revoked. Users are responsible for distributing report access only to intended recipients.
13. Intellectual property
Drofree's software, interface, branding, logos, visual system, documentation and original platform content are owned by or licensed to Drofree. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Drofree's platform intellectual property to users.
14. Third-party services
Drofree depends on third-party infrastructure for functions such as authentication, database, file storage, email delivery and optional OAuth sign-in. A failure or change in a third-party service can affect Drofree. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy practices.
15. Availability and changes
Drofree may add, change, limit or remove features as the service develops. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, security events, internet failures and third-party outages can temporarily affect access.
16. Suspension and termination
Drofree may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform or third parties; investigate abuse or security issues; enforce these Terms; or comply with law. Users may stop using Drofree at any time and may use available deletion/export controls subject to the service's technical and legal requirements.
17. Paid services
V1 currently does not require a paid subscription for the functionality described as free in the product. If paid plans are introduced, applicable price, renewal, taxes, cancellation and refund information will be shown before purchase and additional billing terms may apply.
18. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Drofree is provided on an “as available” basis. Drofree does not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free output, permanent preservation of data, or suitability as a substitute for professional design, engineering, legal, contractual, safety or other specialist review.
19. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Drofree will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the service, loss of data, reliance on review output or inability to access the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
20. Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains how Drofree handles personal information, including service communications, optional marketing consent, regional analytics and project information.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect product, provider, legal or business changes. The effective date identifies the current version. Where a change materially affects use of the service, Drofree may provide an appropriate service notice.
22. Governing framework and contact
Drofree is operated from the United Arab Emirates and these Terms are intended to operate within applicable UAE law. Mandatory consumer or data-protection rights that apply to a user are not displaced by these Terms. Questions about these Terms can be submitted through Contact & Support.
